Lunch Bunch/Tasty Tuesdays
Can't make it early in the morning to Wake Up Whittier? Can't coordinate your schedule to attend evening Mixers? Well, you do eat lunch, right? So do we…and we network at the same time together the last Tuesday of each month beginning at 11:30 am at a Chamber member restaurant. It is FREE to come to, you just pay for your own lunch. Business Expo & Trade Show
High-energy, table top trade show where products and services are promoted, sold and advertised. The event features tons of business networking, themed tables, entertainment, raffle prizes, food from local restaurants and fun. The general public is invited and encouraged to attend and visit "the best of Whittier businesses." The next Expo will be held at the Radisson Hotel Whittier on March 13, 2008. Look for upcoming news on a special TABLE TOP TRADE SHOW in September!

30th Annual Hathaway Golf Classic
The best professional networking on the greens takes place on September 15, 2008 at Candlewood Country Club. Green fees are $195 per golfer and include cart, lunch, snacks, dinner, and a guaranteed great day! Advertising sponsorships are available in the form of Hole Hosts, Tee Sponsors and Eagle Sponsors.

8th Annual Cosmic Bowling Tournament
Not a golfer? Then try bowling! This fun-filled tournament at Friendly Hills Lanes will be in November, 2008 and will be packed with laughter and glow in the dark surprises. Perfect for team building with your staff, or simply for getting to know and network with other Chamber members. Advertising opportunities available in the form of tournament and lane sponsors. Prizes, dinner and awards ceremony included in bowling package price. Call the Chamber office for details.

Chamber Installation Event
Think it's going to be another boring event with lots of speeches? Think again! This is an installation party like you've never seen before to honor our outgoing President and retiring board members and to welcome our incoming President and Board of Directors.

Silver Shield Awards Banquet
Each year the Whittier Chamber honors the men and women of the Whittier Police Department for their outstanding service to the community with a beautiful reception, dinner and awards banquet. This excellent event gives the business community a chance to get to know some of the officers, say thanks and hear about some of the activities that took place throughout the year. The next Silver Shield Awards Banquet will be held on February 29, 2008 at Pacific Palms Conference and Resort Center in the City of Industry. Pulitzer Prize nominated author to be Keynote Speaker.

Seminars & Educational Opportunities
Providing affordable education and training is an important part of what we offer at the Chamber. Usually offered in the morning or at lunchtime, these seminars are fun and fast-paced, usually featuring a guest expert or video. The best part is, the cost is affordable so you can send your entire staff (and food is usually involved!)

New Member Orientations
New member orientations are held 3-4 times a year. These orientations give new members a chance to network with other new members, Ambassadors and board members and also provide valuable information on Chamber events, programs and activities. These fun-filled orientations are held at no cost to our new members and usually include a terrific breakfast! If you are a new member, haven’t been to an orientation before, or are new to your business or organization and would like to learn more about how you can get the most out of your Chamber membership, you are invited to join us at the next New Member Orientation!
