  1. How do I become a member of the Whittier Chamber? CLICK HERE to sign up online.  It’s quick and easy and you’ll be glad you did!
  2. How do I renew my membership?Click the “Renew Your Membership” button HERE. Log in with your username and password. In the left hand column under Member Info, click Pay Bills Online. Your open invoices will appear. Simply click the box for the invoice you would like to pay and follow the directions. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We DO NOT save your credit card info after your purchase for your security.
  3. How do I find a particular business?Enter the business name or category in the Search taskbar on the homepage, or click on Member Search to enter business name or search by category. 
  4. How do I make a complaint against a business?Contact your local Better Business Bureau at (909) 825-7280. The Whittier Chamber exists to promote our members. No formal complaints will be filed via the Chamber on any local business entity.
  5. How do I place an ad on the website?Contact Katie at (562) 698-9554 or email Katie@whittierchamber.com. Ads are affordable and effective!
  6. How do I add my website address to my Chamber listing? Email info@whittierchamber.com and we will make sure your website is listed and linked before the day’s end.
  7. How do I add an event to the Calendar? GO HERE and follow the directions. Your event will be submitted to the Chamber office for approval. If you do not see your event posted within one business day, please email Jessicar@whittierchamber.com the details and we will make sure to post it correctly.
  8. What year was the Whittier Chamber created?1914
  9. Does the Whittier Chamber own their own building?Yes, on the corner of Valna and Painter Avenue just north of Whittier Blvd. Look for our electronic marquis when you pass by!
  10. My email inbox is full! Can I opt out on any marketing and email communications?Absolutely! Although this is the best way to stay connected to Chamber events and news, let us know and we will remove you from our list.
  11. What does the Chamber do for me?We help you succeed by providing you networking opportunities, education, and advocacy… plus lots of fun!
  12. Can I invite my employees to your networking events?Absolutely, and it’s FREE for each person to attend.
  13. I want to join a committee. How do I do that?Some committees require a nomination/recommendation and others just require your enthusiasm and willingness to get involved. Let us know and we will get you set up.
  14. Where do I go to get a business license in Whittier?Go to the Whittier City Hall or online at http://www.cityofwhittier.org/depts/clerk/bizlicense.asp.
